Before applying any moisturiser, it’s important to determine what type of skin you have. There are five basic skin types: dry, oily, sensitive, normal, and combination skin.
If your skin is dry, it loses water easily and gets flaky and cracked. Sensitive skin tends to get easily irritated and oily skin looks shinier due to the excess oil production in the pores. You can also have normal or combination skin which is a mixture of dry and oily skin.
It is super important to start with a clean and dry face. Wash your face with warm, soapy water and pat dry to provide a clean surface for your cream to penetrate where it should.
Once your face is squeaky clean, you can use a small amount of serum which should be spread evenly on your face, neck and chest, wait for your face to absorb the serum, then take a small amount of cream and apply it to your face and neck in upward, circular motions.
Don’t be too abrasive and don’t over-apply! If you have sensitive skin you can also pat the cream onto your skin until it is evenly applied and absorbed.
